HONESTLY.... I had thought of writing about something else today. Same motivational stuff and things to increase your optimistic and opportunistic level.
BUT.... right now I watched something on TV that made me write something that everyone in the entire world not only needs to know, but should abide by.
EVE-TEASING.... One of the most under-rated and ignored crimes in today's world. Unfortunately, in our country and in the capital alone, the cases are increasing day by day at a rate of 3.5%. We go through so many posts on facebook, twitter, tumblr, etc. about stopping eve teasing and start respecting woman but do we actually do it?.
This post is not for getting the maximum page views or getting people to follow my writings. It's a necessity that needs to fit in the narrow minded little brains of those people today who say "Ladka jawaan hai Ladki nahi chedhega to aur kya karega". "INSTEAD OF TEACHING YOUR DAUGHTER WHAT TO AND WHAT NOT TO WEAR TEACH YOUR SON HOW TO BEHAVE AND RESPECT WOMEN".
If you like someone and get attracted to a woman who just entered the metro... It's normal, everybody loves beauty and complementing a woman is not a bad habit.... But there's a decency and a way in doing so. Touching a woman without her permission should lead straight to police station and Oh! wait.... Did I say police station? I'm so sorry we live in a country where a girl is asked "Where did the guy touch you when he was misbehaving?" and stuff like "Stop wearing short dresses and going to pubs and discs.... They're not meant for you". Respected people, pubs and discs offer free entry to women for a REASON, A BIG DAMN REASON!
It's a request to all my readers Kindly raise your voice when you witness such an act.... The next girl could be your wife, your daughter, your girlfriend, your sister,etc. Ladies try and discuss such incidents with someone whom you know can take a stand for you. Because if you'll be afraid of them, they'll consider it an encouragement!Or you can download the "Vith U" app or call on various women helpline numbers.
